The European Commission launched on Monday 3 May a four-week public consultation on a draft delegated regulation to complement the regulation establishing the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI), which is a financing tool for international & development cooperation, crisis response and peace-building measures in partner countries.
This initiative aims to frame the NDICI’s financial programming by setting objectives, identifying priority areas for cooperation per sub-region (Neighbourhood South, Neighbourhood East, West Africa, East and Central Africa, Southern Africa and Indian Ocean, Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia, North and South East Asia, the Pacific, the Americas and the Caribbean) and establishing financial allocations for each Sub-Saharan region.
If you would like to make a contribution, the feedback period is open until 31 May 2021 at midnight (Brussels time) at the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/better-regulation/have-your-say/initiatives/12967-Neighbourhood-Development-and-International-Cooperation-Instrument-programming
