The objectives of the Build it Back Together project are:
To provide resources to the local community in the areas of sports, arts, and social welfare by providing assisted learning opportunities where international volunteers can contribute to local community organizations for a period of 3-6 months.
Support local youth who face barriers to having their first international experience by participating in an international volunteer team with another nation.
To provide volunteers (incoming and outgoing) with the opportunity to gain skills, competencies and knowledge to enhance their employability.
To create a level playing field where those with fewer opportunities have equal access to volunteer opportunities.
Build a high quality relationship with a strong international partner, which will serve as a platform for future larger applications.
