OCTA participated in the CE4EU Islands Forum (Clean Energy for EU Islands Forum) that took place on 17-18 May 2022 in Rhodes, Greece. The event, focusing on the motto “From clean energy vision to clean energy action”, was opened by the the European Commissioner for Energy, Ms. Kadri Simon, and several islands stakeholders.
OCTA participated in the EXPLORE: Transition strategies for the islands Panel, where Mr. Andrei Moarcas, Environment & Energy Adviser within the OCTA Secretariat presented the work being done both in OCTs and at OCTA level, as well as the strategies being drafted to channel the efforts towards energy transition.
