Many young people do not have access to physical mobility, a situation exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of Erasmus+ Virtual Mobility is therefore to extend the scope and reach of Erasmus+.
Virtual exchanges are person-to-person online activities that promote intercultural dialogue and the development of soft skills. They allow every young person to access quality international and intercultural education (formal and non-formal) without physical mobility. While virtual discussions or trainings do not fully replace the benefits of physical mobility, participants in virtual exchanges will enjoy some of the benefits of international educational experiences.
Two new calls have been launched on Erasmus+ virtual exchanges, with a deadline on 22 February 2022. OCTs are eligible, under the same conditions as EU Member States. More information on the calls is available on the website Funding and Tenders Portal – Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges.
An online information session will take place on 30 November, 14h-17h (Brussels time). The purpose of this information session is to provide information on the call for proposals and to give you the opportunity to ask questions.
Details on the info-session and how to attend can be found at the EACEA website:
