II edition Let’s Rock Seminar 2021

On the 16-18 November, the French Agency for Erasmus+ Youth and Sport hosted 30 participants from the OCTs and the ORs in Paris, for an Erasmus+ 3-day seminar focusing on cooperation and creating projects. The seminar gathered youth organisations from 11 Overseas territories, both experienced and newcomers to Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.

During the three days, the participants had many opportunities to meet each other and learn about the realities of other the other territories, fostering a climate of conviviality and trust. By the end of the seminar, an “European Overseas Alliance” had been created among the participants, to continue the youth cooperation among islands with a long-term perspective.

This seminar is the result of an ongoing collaboration between the Erasmus+ Youth Agencies of France, Netherlands, Denmark, Spain and Portugal – with the support of OCTA to raise awareness among all the OCTs. The 2021 Let’s Rock seminar followed two online seminars (in November 2020 and October 2021), which paved the way for a successful collaboration during the physical event in Paris.

Thank you to the French Erasmus+ Youth Agency for organising this seminar and contributing to the dialogue between Overseas Countries and Territories and the Outermost Regions. OCTA will continue to support initiatives that promote cooperation and youth development.
