On the 4-9 October 2021, OCTA welcomed 13 youth representatives from 8 OCTs for its I OCT Youth Week, which took place in Brussels and Strasbourg.
This study visit, a priority in OCTA’s work programme 2021 — co-funded by the European Commission —, created a unique opportunity for the young people of the OCTs to visit the European institutions, meet with the European Commissioner on International Partnerships, Ms Jutta Urpilainen, several European Commission officials, as well as visit the Permanent Representations to the European Union of France, the Netherlands and the Mission of Greenland to the EU.
In Strasbourg, the youth representatives were able to meet and exchange with Members of the European Parliament Ms Samira Rafaela and Mr Stéphane Bijoux, in addition to attending the European Youth Event 2021 in the European Parliament.
