The St. Maarten Youth Council Association (SMYCA) is a non-profit umbrella for youth organizations on Sint Maarten. The objective of the SMYCA is to advocate for the interests of St. Maarten’s youth. Our offices are located at the Rupert I. Maynard Youth Community Center in St. Peters, next to the basketball court. The Center has 2 event rooms that may be rented for different events. In addition, we boast a small hostel, providing affordable housing options for visiting groups. Each hostel room has 4 bunk beds and can accommodate 8 persons per room.
The St. Maarten Youth Council also offers afternoon school programs for students from age 4 (elementary) to second year of high school. During the summer there is a summer camp for kids between the ages of 4-15.
