The Chamber of Agriculture is a public administrative establishment serving the agricultural and rural world. As such, it is the consultative and professional body representing and defending the interests of the agricultural sector vis-à-vis the State, the government of New Caledonia and local institutions. A force for proposals, it acts as a spokesperson with the public authorities and participates in various missions of expertise, technical support, studies, training, research and development around agriculture.
A local establishment, the Chamber of Agriculture offers its citizens a range of services to help improve the economic, social and environmental performance of farms. It supports the installation of farmers, their development projects and the improvement of their skills by offering several systems: information, advice, training, assistance on technical, economic and administrative and personal aspects and aid management.
