The children’s home Casa Cuna is a 7/24 facility for children aged 0 to 8 years, who (temporarily) can no longer live at home due to, for example, neglect, sexual abuse or physical abuse. The purpose of the foundation is to provide psychological and physical care to these children in a safe environment. Casa Cuna also provides guidance to the parents/foster parents of these children.
The organization is affiliated with several local organizations such as the Department of Social Matters (DAS), the Guardianship Council (DVR), Guide Me Foundation (Fundacion Guiami), The Center for host families (CFCA), the White Yellow Cross Foundation (WGK), Sostenemi, Imeldahof, Orthopedic Centrum (OC), the Foundation for Woman in difficulties (FHMD), the Commission for youth pregnancy Aruba (CEMBRAH), the Center for Development Aruba (CDA), Fundeco and the Fier Leeuwarden Foundation.
