Committee draft report from the European Parliament: “Towards a stronger partnership with the EU outermost regions”

The Committee on Regional Development (REGI) of the European Parliament has published a Committee draft report named “Towards a stronger partnership with the EU outermost regions”, with the rapporteur being Mr. Stéphane Bijoux.

It highlights that “At the same time as consolidating the basis for respecting specific characteristics and providing the necessary support in the face of structural challenges, Europe must encourage boldness and local creativity and create the conditions for reconciling the economy and ecology in the ORs” and that “Europe and the ORs have the means to succeed together in a Win-Win partnership“.
